NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR CLAIM A PRIZE. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE AN ENTRANT’S CHANCES OF WINNING.

OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF MARYLAND WHO ARE 18 YEARS OR OLDER AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

1. Grocery Outlet: The Rosedale Grocery Outlet “WIN $1000 IN GROCERIES” Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored and administered by Grocery Outlet, 5650 Hollis Street, Emeryville, CA 94608 (“Sponsor”).

2. PRIVACY: All information submitted to Grocery Outlet as part of this Sweepstakes will be treated in accordance with the privacy policy located at https://groceryoutlet.com/privacy.   If you live in California, The California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) provides California residents with rights to receive certain disclosures regarding the collection, use, and sharing of “Personal Information,” as well as rights to know/access, delete, and limit sharing of Personal Information. 3. ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is offered only to legal residents of Maryland who are eighteen (18) years or older at the time of entry. Employees of Sponsor and its parent company, subsidiaries and affiliates, distributors and companies involved in the implementation and execution of the Sweepstakes (collectively, “Sweepstakes Entities”) and each of their respective immediate family members (i.e., spouse, parent, child, sibling and the “steps” of each) and persons living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. By participating in this Sweepstakes, an individual who meets the eligibility requirements and enters the Sweepstakes agrees to be bound by these official rules (“Official Rules”) and agrees that the decisions of Sponsor shall be final and binding in all matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes.

4. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins on 4/10/2025, at 12:01 A.M. PT and ends on 5/9/2025, at 11:59 P.M. PT (“Sweepstakes Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official clock of the Sweepstakes.

HOW TO ENTER: During the Sweepstakes period, you may enter the sweepstakes in one of two ways:

• Enroll in our customer Mobile App (“GO Mobile App”): At checkout provide phone number to the cashier or show your app to the cashier who will scan your app at your participating Grocery Outlet. Your purchase will automatically be entered into the drawing. Consult your GO Mobile App to review the number of entries you have completed for the month.
• Register on this page using the form below... Use the form below to enter if you are not entering via the Grocery Outlet Mobile App. You will be required to enter your first and last name and email address, as well as that state of which you are a resident. Online registration entries are considered to be received the next business day after you have completed the registration.

NOTE: There is a limit of one (1) entry per person per day during the Sweepstakes period, regardless of whether you enter in store at checkout or by registering online without making a purchase. Entries must also comply with the “Entry Requirements” described below.

5. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: The use of automated entry devices or programs, or entries by third parties by any method of entry, are prohibited. Ineligible entries include entries that fail to comply with these Official Rules, as well as those that contain any inappropriate content (e.g., any obscene or harassing language written on an entry) or content that is generally not within the spirit of the Sweepstakes. We will have sole discretion in determining whether an entry violates the Official Rules, including these Entry Requirements.

6. SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF THE PRIZE WINNER: On or about the fifth business day after the end of the Sweepstakes period, we will randomly select one (1) potential winner from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes period.

You do not need to be in attendance at the drawing in order to be eligible to win. Following the drawing, the potential winner will be notified by email (if provided by you), text or in app notification. Potential winners may subsequently be required to submit a mailing address and/or phone number. If a potential winner does not submit any requested contact information as instructed within 3 days from when the notification is sent then such person may be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be selected by random drawing, if time permits.

NOTE: Potential winners are subject to verification by Grocery Outlet, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. An entrant is not a winner of any prize unless and until entrant’s eligibility has been verified and entrant has been notified that verification is complete.

7.  PRIZE AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (“ARV”): There will be one (1) prize, consisting of twenty $50 Reward certificates that must be used within one year (“Prize”). Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) = $1,000. Reward certificates will only be redeemable for use at the Rosedale Grocery Outlet location. No cash value and no substitutions. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize or equal or greater value. Winner will be notified on or about 5/10/2025.

Odds of winning the prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes period. No transfer, substitution or cash equivalent for prize is allowed, except at our sole discretion. Grocery Outlet reserves the right to substitute a prize, in whole or in part, of equal or greater monetary value if the prize or any portion of the prize cannot be awarded, in whole or in part, as described for any reason.  Actual prize may differ from any promotional images. Prize winner is responsible for all federal, state, or local taxes associated with prize acceptance.

8. DISQUALIFICATION: If an entrant is found to be ineligible, or if he/she does not comply with the Official Rules, then such entrant will be disqualified. If a prize, prize documentation or prize notification is returned as undeliverable or unclaimed, this will result in disqualification. In the event a potential winner is deemed ineligible or disqualified, then an alternate potential winner may be selected via a random drawing from the remaining pool of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes period.

9. LICENSE: By entering the Sweepstakes and/or accepting a prize, participants grant to Grocery Outlet the right, without limitation, to use the participant’s name, city, state, likeness, photo, and/or entry for promotional, advertising or other purposes, and to display such information or content in any media now known or hereinafter developed, including, but not limited to, Grocery Outlet’s website(s) and/or social media account(s), all without any compensation to the participant.

10. SWEEPSTAKES CONDITIONS: By entering, you agree: (a) to be bound by these Official Rules and any other documents required by Grocery Outlet, any decisions of Grocery Outlet, and to waive any right to claim ambiguity in this Sweepstakes, the Official Rules or any other documents required by Grocery Outlet, (b) to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Grocery Outlet and its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, representatives, agents, parent companies, affiliates, franchisees, subsidiaries and agencies (collectively, “Released Parties”), from and against any and all liability, claims, losses, damages, demands, causes of action, penalties and expenses arising out of or related to any statement, action or failure to act by you during or in connection with your participation and/or any breach or alleged breach of these Official Rules or of any other documents required by Grocery Outlet and, (c) not to sue and to hereby irrevocably and unconditionally release, discharge and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all liabilities, claims and demands of any kind or nature whatsoever, in law or equity, whether known or unknown, which you (or your successors-in-interest, heirs and/or agents) ever had, now have, or in the future may have against the Released Parties, including, but not limited to claims arising out of or related to personal injury (including death) and/or damage, theft, loss or any other harm, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from (i) participation in the Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes related activity, (ii) the acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize, (iii) the use of any of the rights granted herein (including, without limitation, the use and exploitation of your entry, name, address [city and state], biographical information, statements, voice, photograph, and/or other likeness), (iv) any malfunction or other problem with any Sweepstakes website or webpage, (v) any error in the collection or retention of entry information, and (vi) any typographical or other error in the printing, offering or announcement of any prize.

11. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: The Released Parties are not responsible for illegible, lost, late, stolen, deleted, misdirected, undeliverable or incomplete entries; any typographical, system or human errors and failures; or any malfunction of any Sweepstakes website or webpage or error in the collection, processing or retention of entry information. Proof of transmission does not constitute proof of entry.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, AND EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, EVERYTHING REGARDING THIS SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING THE PRIZE, IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. TERMINATION/SUSPENSION/MODIFICATION OF SWEEPSTAKES: If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, any tampering or unauthorized intervention in the Sweepstakes or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of Grocery Outlet, we reserve the right in our sole discretion to terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and to select the winner(s) by conducting a random drawing from the eligible entries received during the relevant month at that point. We may also disqualify or prohibit an entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning a prize if we determine that you have violated the Official Rules, have threatened or are attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes or has otherwise engaged in any behavior generally not within the spirit of the Sweepstakes.

13. DISPUTES: The Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to any conflicts of law provisions. All disputes, claims or demands that relate to these Official Rules will first be brought to the attention of the other party and will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.  The receiving party shall have sixty (60) days from the date of being notified to remedy the described issue and notify the complaining party in writing of the resolution.  If the dispute, claim or demand is not resolved to the satisfaction of the complainant within 60 days, the complainant may request an informal resolution conference (mediation), which if agreed to by the other party will be scheduled to occur within 21 days of the written response.  Each party shall have the right to be represented at such a conference by counsel and will ensure that a decision-maker with full and complete authority to resolve the dispute attends the conference.  Such conference will be in front of a third party mediator chosen by the parties.  If the parties do not agree to conference or are unable to resolve a dispute after such a conference, the parties agree that exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute, claim or demand related in any way to these Official Rules will be decided by binding arbitration.  All disputes between the parties, of whatsoever kind or nature arising out of these Official Rules, shall be submitted to JAMS for binding arbitration under its applicable rules then in effect, before one arbitrator to be mutually agreed upon by both parties.  The parties agree to share equally in the arbitration costs incurred. Entrants agree that the statute of limitations for asserting any claims shall be a period of one (1) year from the time the cause of action accrued, or the cause of action shall be forever barred.

Winners list requests must be received by no earlier than 5/10/2025 and no later than 5/24/2025.
