Nate and Dawn Harrell are the operators of the Watsonville Grocery Outlet.  The Harrells have been the operators of the Salinas Grocery Outlet in Salinas, California since September of 2008, and in 2010 took ownership of their second store in Watsonville. Before Grocery Outlet, both Nate and Dawn were vendors and Grocery Outlet was one of their customers! They met an operator in Oregon who encouraged them to pursue the company. The couple interviewed and worked through operator training before taking over their first store in Salinas.

The Harrells are very involved with the Salinas community and look forward to similar involvement in Watsonville. They donate to the local food banks, which help feed and clothe many needy families throughout the area. Nate and Dawn also enjoy supporting youth. They give to the Boys and Girls Club and several different schools, sponsoring after school activities and youth sport leagues.
