John and Linda McGinty are the owners of the Grocery Outlet in Tanasbourne, Oregon.  Both John and Linda have 27 years experience with Safeway stores.  Linda worked as a Meat Wrapper and Assistant Manager.  John has worked in all departments and managed 5 different stores for Safeway in the Portland/Vancouver area.  John was the designated financial analysis trainer for the Safeway Portland Division and left Safeway to complete his degree in Finance at Washington State University Vancouver.  Both are very excited about the opportunity to build a business together.

John and Linda believe that customer service is more than just an overused phrase.  They say, “It's about sincerely caring about people, listening to their wants and needs, responding to them, and building authentic and solid relationships with them.”
 
The McGintys have been involved with the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life organization, school programs, and children's community sports leagues.  They look forward to giving back to the community with our focus on these areas and also working to benefit our senior population.
