Meet Tod and Debbie Jackson, the operators of the Grocery Outlet located in San Leandro, California. After spending seven years with Cash-N-Carry, Tod was ready to pursue a new career. He was recruited to become a store operator and after he and Debbie researched the company, the two decided to the opportunity would really suit them. They began training in April of 2008. They have been operating the store in San Leandro since April of 2009 and hope to be there for many years to come.

Like all Grocery Outlet operators, Tod and Debbie’s favorite part of their job is being able to come to work everyday and interact with their fantastic customers. They make a big effort to know all of their customers and enjoy chatting with them daily. Tod and Debbie also love contributing to the San Leandro community through their store. They currently partner up with both of the middle schools in the area to hold graduation parties, fund after-school programs for the district, and donate to surrounding food banks.

Tod and Debbie are very appreciative of the opportunity they have to support their community. They routinely receive gratitude from customers throughout San Leandro for providing the town with such a unique service. Along with their two sons and loyal band of employees, Tod and Debbie love what they do and are happy to provide for such great customers.
