Welcome John Haynes, the operator of the Grocery Outlet located in Monroe, Washington. Years ago while visiting his parents John walked into the Longview Grocery Outlet to see his old managers from  Pay-N-Save, Steve Mazucca. At the time, Steve and his wife Sheryl were operating the Grocery Outlet in Longview.  They talked to John and convinced him operating a store was a profession he would be interested in pursuing. He began working with the company in 1996 and began operating in Monroe on July 25, 2000.

With the help of both his daughter and his son, John creates a sense of family for his employees and his customers. He loves operating his own store and giving back to the community. He donates food to local food banks, participates in Habitat for Humanity, and sponsors different school programs. A couple years ago there was a major flood near the store and the Red Cross came up short on family and individual necessities. John was able to give people shirts and jackets to help them get through a very challenging time.

John is happy he is able to provide a great service to the people of Monroe. He would like to thank everyone for their support and always shopping his store first. He is grateful for his awesome customers!
