Jason and Kathy Olson are the owners of Grocery Outlet in Elk Grove, California. Jason and Kathy have owned the Elk Grove location since 2007. Jason was inspired to become an owner after being chosen to attend a prestigious seminar at the University of Southern California covering the grocery industry. After seeking out Grocery Outlet, he soon became an operator and brought his wife to training along with him.
The Olsons take pride in their ability to help the Elk Grove community. Jason and Kathy donate and sponsor the nearby food banks, the Rotary Club, and many youth athletic programs. Jason is a Cub Master for his children in Pack 255 and a member of the Club of Laguna Sunrise Rotary, all while being on the Elk Grove Board of Directors. Above his store, he even houses the Elk Grove Non-Profit Resource which is ten different non-profit organizations.
