Vaughn Combs is the operator of our store in Clovis, California. Vaughn had 15 years of retail experience with Prairie Markets and Cash and Carry prior to joining Grocery Outlet. He also spent more than 10 years in the challenging route sales business with Nestle/Alhambra. Vaughn completed his Grocery Outlet training with Stan and Sue Lau at the Marina store, and was readily recognized as a great fit for the Grocery Outlet business and culture. Vaughn then moved back to Oregon to get the “finishing touches” of training from Ed and Sheryl Ryker in McMinnville, before taking ownership of the Clovis Grocery Outlet in February, 2010.
Vaughn is familiar with the Clovis area and its customers, having spent the first part of his life in Clovis. He’s also lived in the Bend/Redmond area of Oregon. Vaughn likes the family element to Grocery Outlet and has brought on board a family support team. His brother Quinn is joining Vaughn as his Store Manager and his fiancé Pamela will help at the front end of the store. Vaughn and his team are excited to be part of the Clovis community.
