Say hello to Jason and Amanda Steele, operators of the Grocery Outlet located in Boise, Idaho. Jason and Amanda have been operating the store in Boise since 2001. Twenty years ago, Jason started his career with Grocery Outlet as a boxer at the Ontario, Oregon store. After marrying Amanda, the two decided to open a store together. They have been at the Boise Grocery Outlet ever since.

Jason and Amanda love the freedom that comes with operating their own Grocery Outlet, as well as the family values it promotes. They give back to their community in many different ways—some of them include donations to schools and after school programs, Habitat for Humanity, Pace for the Cure, as well as various programs promoting cancer research. Jason and Amanda give everything they can from the goodness of their hearts and feel gratified when customers show their appreciation, which happens almost daily!

Although the couple does not work with any direct family members in the store, they do consider many of the other operators close friends and some even family. They want to say thank you to all the customers that have supported their Grocery Outlet by always shopping them first.
